Course Route Street Closures
The following streets are part of the Shamrock Shuffle course route and will be closed to traffic on March 21, 2010:
- Columbus Dr., from Randolph Dr. to Grand Ave., 8:45 a.m. - 10:15 a.m.
- Grand Ave., from Columbus Dr. to Rush St., 8:45 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
- Rush St., from Grand Ave. to Hubbard St., 8:45 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
- Hubbard St., from Rush St. to State St., 8:45 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
- State St., from Hubbard St. to Wacker Dr., 8:45 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
- Wacker Dr. (westbound lanes only) from State St. to Lake St., 8:45 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
- Lake St., from Wacker Dr. to Desplaines St., 8:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
- Milwaukee Ave., from Canal St. to Clinton St., 9:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
- Clinton St., from Fulton St. to Lake St., 9:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
- Desplaines St., from Lake St. to Washington Blvd., 9:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
- Washington Blvd., from Desplaines St. to Franklin St., 9:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
- Franklin St., from Washington Blvd. to Harrison St., 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
- Harrison St., from Franklin St. to Michigan Ave., 9:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.
- Michigan Ave. (northbound lanes only), from Harrison St. to Roosevelt Rd., 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
- Roosevelt Rd. (westbound lanes only), from Michigan Ave. to Columbus Dr., 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Grant Park Street Closures
- There will be limited vehicle access to Grant Park for the duration of the event, from 2:00 a.m. to approximately 3:00 p.m.
- Upper Randolph Dr. between Michigan Ave. and Lake Shore Dr. will remain open during the entire event. Because the course route follows lower Columbus Dr., lower Randolph Dr. will be affected by street closures.
- North Michigan Ave. will remain open. Congress Drive will remain open for northbound access to Michigan Ave.
Accessing the Museum Campus
Additional street closures
- Additional streets and ramps near the course route will be closed during the event to ensure the safety of the participants.
