Deloitte Elite Club 8K Competition
Sunday, March 24, Chicago, 8:30 a.m.
The Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8K will host its eleventh annual Deloitte Elite Club 8K Competition for USATF-member racing teams. The event attracts the top local, regional and national club teams to the flat and fast streets of Chicago to compete for a $20,000 prize purse.
We hope your club will be part of this year’s action, as the Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8K continues its tradition of being one of the year’s premier competitions for elite club teams.
Divisions and scoring
Teams will compete in two championship divisions—men’s and women’s—and can enter a maximum of five (5) runners per team. Men’s teams must enter a minimum of four (4) runners per team, and women’s teams must enter a minimum of three (3) runners. In the men’s division, the top four (4) finishers will count toward team scoring; in the women’s division, the top three (3) finishers will count toward team scoring. The teams with the lowest combined finish time among their scoring runners will be declared the winners. Clock time (gun time) will be the official recorded time for all Elite Club Competition runners. Clubs may enter a maximum of three (3) women’s teams and three (3) men’s teams.
Awards and prize money
Event trophies will be presented to the overall team champions and prize money* will be awarded to the top five (5) teams as follows.
*Prize money will be paid to the club/organization.

All participating clubs must be registered with USATF for 2019, and all athletes entering as part of a club must train and race with the club on a regular basis. For questions regarding USATF membership or to purchase/renew a club membership, please visit usatf.org or contact your local USATF association.
To qualify for the Deloitte Elite Club Competition division, team members must meet the time standards listed below. Team members must have met these standards at an event completed on or after January 1, 2018.
If a club or individual does not meet the qualifications for the Deloitte Elite Club Competition, they can participate individually or as part of the Deloitte Open Team Competition. Only teams in the Deloitte Elite Club Competition will be eligible for prize money, race day amenities, and registration deadline of Friday, March 8.
Fill out the Registration Information form. Upon approval of the submission, teams will receive a unique registration code so that they may complete the registration process online. The Registration Information Form must be submitted by 5 p.m. CST, Friday, March 1, 2019.
Each 3-5-person team (minimum of 3 for women’s teams and a minimum of 4 for men’s teams) is required to pay a $100 team registration fee.
