Scoring and ranking
The 2021 Deloitte Team Competition will be open to teams during the Training Challenge (Monday, January 25 to Thursday, March 18) and Shufflers competing in the 8K over race weekend (Friday, March 19 to Sunday, March 21).
Teams will be scored in one of five divisions based on team size (see divisions below). Team members will be responsible for logging their miles and race results in their participant account. Once submitted, the results will be applied to an individual’s team results.
During the Training Challenge, teams will be ranked by the total miles submitted by participating team members over the 8-week challenge. Rankings will be updated weekly, following the results submission deadline each Sunday.
Over race weekend, team rankings will transition from total mileage to average 8K race time. The final Deloitte Elite Team Competition results for the 8K will be available the week of March 22.
